Hey Kiddos… please read the lab below for Thursday. (You do not need to write it up, just read.) See you then!

Don’t forget…
Periodic Table Review
Hey Gang… For a good review from today, see this link: Periodic Table Review. And don’t forget to follow the rubric for your post labs (we spent lots of time on this today :)). Also, quiz is next week!
New…
New conversions have been added to the flashcards. Enjoy your holiday weekend!
Prelab and Postlab
I have a few reminders about your Pre and Postlab. Remember to complete the calculations and Section VI for your Postlab. This means that you will be writing a paragraph for VI.
For the Prelab on Density, remember that you will be writing Sections I-IV. You will need to use your book for a 3-4 sentence Introduction. Please use your own words and always write in pen in your lab notebook.
Flashcards and Lab Equipment
Hey Kiddos 🙂
I had a couple of questions this afternoon about where to find to the Engrade flashcards. Here’s that link. Also, I decided yesterday not to format the lab equipment as a table. We labeled what you need to know in your notes, but so that no one is confused, see below:
Graduated cylinder– measures volume, use mL or L
Balance – measures mass, use g
Ruler or tape measure – measures length or distance, use m or cm
See you next week! Keep those questions coming!
The next three weeks…
Students- I understand that some of you will be on the trip to Dauphin Island in a few weeks and others of you will still be vacationing. I have posted the next few weeks of homework for you. Remember to have a parent excuse your absence, and you may turn in all your work when you return. There is a quiz on Aug 30 that you may makeup when you return. I will post the Module 1 Test the week before it is due. Have fun!
First Homework Assignment

Welcome to chemistry class! The first assignment is posted. It is due the first day of class (this means you have a few things to do before the first day). Be sure to complete all the assignments, print the page, and have a parent sign at the bottom (a signed Assignment Sheet is your homework grade).
I look forward to seeing you in August!
