Bridge Classes canceled tomorrow

Parents & Students,

Bridge classes have been canceled for tomorrow (March 5, 2015) due to the forecasted inclement weather.  I have revised and posted the new homework that is due March 19.  
 
Because this is our second class to miss, we will have to make this day up on May 7, 2015.  Therefore, the Final Exam will be moved to this final class on May 7 in order to accommodate for this missed class.
 
Also, The Bridge’s Open House has been rescheduled for March 19 from 4-6p.

Week 23 Homework

Well, we have have 7 weeks of classes to go until the Final Exam.  Isn’t that exciting?!

From week to week, we will continue to go over a few old test questions in an effort to review (though not as many as today).  It really is to your advantage to bring those with you each week.

This week, before you take the Module 12 Test, you may wish to view a few of these videos.  And as you begin Module 13, some of these videos may be helpful.

Your new homework is posted. Please BE SURE to email me your calculations from Lab 10.2 before midnight (see p.344 in book and p.60 in Solutions Manual) if you did not have them in class today.

Note that today’s lab has postlab questions, and you will need to write a postlab paragraph as always.

Module 10 Homework, Acids Quiz

Students,

  • Remember that your Acids Quiz is next week, Jan 29 (look at p.328).
  • Winter Break is Feb 2-6.  No classes, no homework.
  • New homework is posted.  Don’t forget your prelab 10.2 and postlab paragraph 10.1.
  • Pre-registration for The Bridge classes begins Feb 1.  Talk to your parents about what you will be taking next- Anatomy and Physiology or Physics.

Quiz Jan 22

This is a quick reminder about two things:

  • The Molecular Geometry Quiz is this week.  Know the 5 shape names, angles, and sketches.
  • Don’t forget to finish the postlab questions and postlab paragraphs for BOTH labs from last week.  You should use words like polar, non-polar, dissolves, polarity.  Label the “how, what, data, why, and errors” before coming to class.
