Students,
Welcome back from fall break! Your new homework is posted. Be sure to practice, practice balancing equations.
A question came up in class today- is hydrogen diatomic? Yes, it is! If you don’t have it marked on your periodic table, please mark it.
See you next week! jb
It’s finally here, y’all! Yay!
Watch one or more of these Videos to prep for Chapter 6.
You have one week of homework due October 20. Enjoy your time off. I’ll see you in a couple of weeks. jb
Hey Kiddos- Fall Break will be here before you know it! Keep going strong until then… if you’d like some help on Chapter 5, watch this video: Covalent Compounds. It will get a little more detailed than your book, but that’s ok :).
Remember to study this week for the Prefix and Shapes/Angle Quiz (p135 & table from your notes) which will take place next week, Oct 6.
See you then! jb
Students- Don’t forget to include the six words/phrases below from the board last week in your Postlab due Thursday (along with reading p84). If you don’t know what something means, use the Google machine or your textbook’s glossary. Be sure you identify your two unknowns in the paragraph as well.
See you soon! jb

Nice job with the flame tests today. I think you are getting the hang of things. New homework is posted.
Please remember that I highly recommend that you take the time to do the Chapter 3 book test before taking my test :). The lab is linked to the homework page again this week.
Enjoy your weekend… Fall Break will be here before you know it! jb
… is posted. Flame test lab is linked to the homework (don’t use book version). There is also a worksheet to complete for homework, along with your regular book work. Dress appropriately for lab next week!
And don’t forget to print two copies of the periodic table for next week.
Have a good week! jb
