Hey Guys,
I am offering an optional help session on Stoichiometry this Thursday @ 9:00-9:30 AM. If you scored lower than 37/42 on the Module 5 test, you should consider coming. One catch… Please RSVP to homeschoolscience@live.com if you are coming! Oh, and it would be really silly not to bring a calculator :). See you soon!
The moment you’ve all been waiting for… Stoichiometry! I hope you are enjoying it :)!
Don’t forget that you always must have a balanced reaction.
Good work on the Limiting Reactant lab today. Don’t forget the postlab paragraph. Be prepared to read it in class next week.
Your new homework is posted. Watch this video and try this exercise on Khan this week.
Hey Kiddos,
The new homework is posted. It’s been a couple of weeks since you wrote a postlab- don’t forget that there’s a concluding paragraph to write, as well as calculations to finish. Some of you lucky ones will get to read your paragraph in class next week!
Enjoy your weekend! JB
Students- I am making a quick change to the homework this week. You only need to complete #1-11 on the candy lab from today. You do not yet need to finish #12-15. Call me with questions!
Enjoy that Candy Lab today? Don’t forget to celebrate National Mole Day on October 23 @ 6:02 AM – 6:02 PM!
Your new homework is posted, and here are some flashcards to help you continue learning Module 5.
See you next week!
Sorry we had to miss class today. Here are some reminders and hints for the next module:
Enjoy the time off!
Try this link for an interactive exercise. It will get you ready for what we are going to do during lab time on Thursday. Pay no attention to the programming side of things (on the left), just play around with the reaction side. When the reaction is balanced, all of the atoms will be used up. Cool, huh?
If you don’t want to join Khan Academy, you can print your page each time when you finish an exercise or video that I assign. Just print it and bring it to me that week. (However, it is better if you can join.) Thanks!
